Everyone in the Resistance seems remarkably unfazed by the Hosnian system's destruction - General Leia above all - despite massive casualties and the total loss of government infrastructure.This is even more damning as the expanded universe establishes that the trooper, FN-2003, was someone Finn knew personally. This even applies to one of the most striking visuals from the film, the stormtrooper who leaves the bloody handprint on Finn's helmet was shot by Poe, a fact which is never addressed in the trilogy.Unfortunately, the film itself does not at all cover this, leaving it tonally inconsistent. Then again he's busy going through a Trauma Conga Line, and the novelization shows Finn having some regrets over killing his former comrades.

She displays barely contained childish glee when she tells Han that she bypassed the compressor to fix the Falcon. One of the first things we see Rey do is eat her dinner while wearing an old Rebel pilot's helmet.Later while fighting stormtroopers on Takodana, he cheers while watching Poe in his X-Wing shoot down TIE fighters when the Resistance forces arrive.
